Fabrice gained extensive trading experience in equity derivatives during 9 years working for BNP Paribas. He set up and ran a single stocks volatility trading desk on EUREX derivatives exchange, managed a large vanilla and exotic option book and implemented some successful proprietary volatility dispersion strategies.
In 2000, he quit my trading job to launch a first-of-a-kind web-based equity derivatives marketplace, Brokerhub. As a result, he also ended up creating an institutional broker specialised in equity derivatives, OTCex. He grew OTCex to become a major derivatives group in equity, fixed income and commodities in Europe, Asia, and lately America. In 2014, he became increasingly interested in investment research and its upcoming economic, technological but also regulatory challenges. With computer engineering partners, he decided to launch the new Fintech Alphametry, a premier investment research community, helping asset managers and financial analysts to efficiently engage and collaborate worldwide.

Carrie Cheung is Managing Director and Head of Execution, Equity Cash Asia Pacific, Global Markets at BNP Paribas. She leads the development of the BNP Paribas algorithm, DMA and program trading business.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2013, Carrie was with J.P. Morgan, where she was responsible for the sales and marketing of the prime DMA platform. Previously, she also worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Japan as Head of Electronic Trading for 11 years, building out the equity trading platform and electronic business in the region.
Carrie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

COL(Ret) YUN Ta Chun served as Chief Signal Officer for 7 years, where most of his SAF tenure focused on modernizing the Army in Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (C4I) capabilities. After 25 years of service, he founded C3S in 2003, bringing to the commercial sector a wealth of C4I perspectives for fast pace, high volume mission-critical businesses.
Ta Chun started C3S with the simple intention of maintaining and preserving service continuity and data integrity in ICT environment. C3S systematically mines the transformational ICT landscape and look out for disruptive ICT deployments that will bring significant leap frog strategies to the clients’ current operations. This approach achieves higher value functions to attain corporate mission and objectives.

Adam Garrett is a member of the Thomson Reuters Asia Market Development team, responsible for driving the Enterprise Capabilities & Content business across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. He began his financial career in 2002 as an equity quant trader at Lehman Brothers in Tokyo before moving to structuring and then volatility-trading roles, firstly with Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong and later with Mizuho Securities again in Tokyo. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Computing Science from Oxford University, an MBA from the International University of Japan, and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from 7City; currently based in Hong Kong, he has been with Thomson Reuters since 2012.

Jordan has over twenty years of experience designing and supporting complex networks worldwide with ten years in the design and operation of trading infrastructures. Currently, he is a co-founder and Vice President - Director of Technology at Mocho Trading LLC. Mocho is a Chicago-based low latency proprietary trading firm which commenced operations in March 2014. It is registered as a US SEC Broker Dealer and member of various US futures and equities exchanges.
Praveen has 24 years of experience in financial services and has been with UTI International since 2009. He started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank and worked with them in India, Australia and Bahrain across Credit, Consumer Finance, Systems & Private Banking. He later joined Standard Chartered Bank and built the Wealth Management and Investment Advisory business in the Middle East as the Chief Investment Officer for Middle East & South Asia. He then joined Merrill Lynch and worked with them in London and Dubai leading their Hedge Fund & Private Equity Advisory business for EMEA.
As the Head of Information Technology, Ray is responsible for all regional business applications, from front to back office. With over 15 years of experience within all spectrums of the industry, Ray is best suited to lead a round table discussion on compliance technology. The discussion aims to find ways to harmonize the checking of rules globally to make the system more efficient.

Ravi Kashyap is a quantitative specialist at IHS Markit in Hong Kong, advising investment firms on transaction cost analysis methodologies and multi-factor alpha generation models. He has held similar roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup in Hong Kong and New York. He is a research affiliate of the City University of Hong Kong, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University and an undergraduate degree from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India.
David has more than 30 years of experience in financial markets. He worked as a fund manager at McIntosh Asset Management and then ran the dealing room at Westpac Investment Management before moving to the sell side.
David is the CEO and Co-Founder of Block Event, a specialist Asian Block Trading venue. David's previous roles include Managing Director and founder of Liquidnet Asia, Head of APAC Execution for Macquarie Bank and Credit Suisse where he helped introduce DMA and the AES suite of algorithmic trading products to Asian markets.

Andrew Koh is currently the Deputy Chief Manager, Risk Management of China Construction Bank, Singapore Branch. He is a notable thought leader, risk, compliance and governance expert with over 25 years of working experience covering banking, finance, cards and payment sectors. He has worked in various risk management roles and cross-functional roles in audit, compliance, fraud and technology risk management. Prior to joining BNPP IP, he was Head of Overseas Investment at Ping An of China Asset Management (HK) Ltd. Chi’s other positions in Asia included Asia Research Head for the British private property fund Grosvenor, chief economist and strategist for Asia at Standard Chartered Bank and research director for Greater China at HSBC in Hong Kong.

Mr. Mollemans heads up Pavilion’s Asia Pacific sales trading desk and has 20 years’ experience in Asia equity trading and research. He also worked at Daiwa Capital Markets America in New York as Head of Electronic Trading Sales, and at Credit Lyonnais Securities in Tokyo in Electronic Trading Sales. Ned Phillips, Founder and CEO of Bambu, has been based in Asia for the past 25 years. Ned has been involved in FinTech since 1999 where he started his journey with E*TRADE before becoming the Managing Director for Asia up until 2007. Ned was then part of the transformation of stock exchange technology with SGX and Chi-X, building a new pan Asian trading platform. Ned has been active in this recent wave of FinTech development. Benjamin Quinlan is the CEO and Managing Partner of Quinlan & Associates. Prior to founding Quinlan & Associates, Benjamin was the Head of Strategy for Deutsche Bank AG’s Equities business in Asia Pacific and its Investment Bank in Greater China, and sat on a number of the bank’s global and regional executive committees. He was also the global strategy lead for several of Deutsche Bank’s landmark projects executed out of London and New York. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Benjamin worked as a Management Consultant at Oliver Wymanin the firm’s Corporate & Institutional Banking practice. Kent is the Head of Regional Asia Pacific Trading for Allianz Global Investors which have assets under management in excess of EUR 291billion. He has over twenty years investment experience and is best suited to lead a roundtable discussion exclusive to heads of trading from the buy side to discuss day to day challenges and solutions. He will also be presenting a summary of the discussions on the morning of day two.
Abraham Tachjian is an experienced lawyer in capital markets and financial services. Throughout his career, he has been involved in large and complex deals where he has provided legal support through a pragmatic and business oriented approach. He has advised on transactions with respect to structured products, debt capital markets, investment banking and derivatives. He is common law and civil law qualified and practices in both English and French.
Abraham is also a strong proponent of fintech and an industry recognised expert. He focuses on the numerous potential applications of blockchain in the context of financial services as well as the burgeoning field of regtech. His background in law and banking along with his understanding of technological underpinnings allows him to provide counsel with a unique point of view that bridges the gap between these fields.
Masahiko is working in Mizuho Securities as a team leaders of researchers and developers working on AI analysis in financial industry and AI market prediction used for algorithmic trading.
He is,currently, carrying out a project of building high performance deep learning analysis platform in-house with various historical and real-time market data inputs.

Mr. Tse joined Robeco Hong Kong in 2009 as a Senior Equities Trader. Since 2013, Mr. Tse has been the Head of Trading for the Asia-Pacific region, based in the Hong Kong office. In this capacity, he manages the Hong Kong trading desk, overseeing Asian equity trading across 15 markets in the region for all Robeco funds and mandates. He began his career in 2005 as a proprietary trader at Swift Trade in Canada specializing in high-frequency type trading before joining outsourced-trading firm Alpha Trading in 2006 in Hong Kong, and later in Singapore, managing executions for hedge funds.
Richard Waddington has worked in mathematical finance for over 20 years. In 2011 he set up a fund-management co. as a vehicle for his work on improving the process of asset management, and in 2014 he took the technology that he had developed and patented into a separate business, Sherpa Funds Technology. Richard now runs SFT, providing Asset Managers with improved process (“more of the risk you want, less of the risk you don’t want”), by implementing methods and technologies that generate consistent returns and which make his clients more investible.
Zhijian is the CEO of Woodsford Capital Management Pte Ltd, the largest passive strategy manager in Singapore. In Woodsford, Zhijian spends most of his time conducting investment related research. Zhijian’s main research interest is in the area of tactical and strategic asset allocation, factor investing and behavioral finance.
Mr TK Yap, CFA, is Executive Director at OCBC Securities overseeing its Institutional Business, focusing on electronic flow execution into the regional cash equities markets. TK has vast experience in the industry for 30 years now. Joining OCBC Securities in 1998 to start its broker dealer sales trading and electronic execution business, he built the firm’s agency only execution capability cash, for the derivatives, portfolio trading, proprietary and market making desks of the global broker dealers, and trading desks of private banks, buy sides and propriety trading firms.
